KidsWork Children's Museum members are admitted free into the museum with their membership.

Blue Star Museum

KidsWork is a Blue Star Museum. This program allows active-duty military and five of their family members free admission from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Play Together Initiative

KidsWork is happy to offer our Play Together Initiative to make learning at the museum more accessible. Through this program, low-income families are eligible for 50% off regular admission prices for children, adults, and seniors. Proof of EBT (SNAP, WIC) is required.

Licensed Caregivers

Free admission is provided to licensed care providers (such as, but not limited to, therapists and nurses) accompanying visitors who require medical assistance to visit the museum. The care provider must provide an employee badge from a licensed facility and a matching photo identification. 

Teachers and First Responders

Teachers and first responders are also admitted free with proof of identification. This discount is not applicable for any accompanying guests.

First responders include the following:

  • Firefighters
  • Police
  • EMT

PLEASE NOTE: The DuPage Children's Museum Access Membership and the Museums For All program are not valid at KidsWork.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are available for sale from KidsWork. Gift cards must be purchased in person at the museum and are not available for sale online. 

Amenities

Numerous resources are available to aid in accessibility and inclusivity needs throughout the museum. More details on these amenities can be found at our Accessibility page.

Water bottle refill stations and water fountains are available near the restrooms.

A coat room with cubbies is available to store personal belongings. Strollers may also be parked in this area as needed and as space allows.

Available soon: A designated nursing area is available near the entrance to the exhibits. Nursing mothers are also welcome to nurse their babies in any public space in the museum.

All of our restrooms are wheelchair accessible and include changing tables. Our family restroom includes a large-capacity changing table. Please restrict all diaper changes to designated changing table surfaces.
